Does anyone know if I can do this using one note but applying a delay or echo or oscillator effect that repeats the note like a beat?

I doubt that is one note. It sounds like a string-ensemble

with violinS, and i believe they together sums up as a chord
Eg different types of string instruments play different semitones, so you have a chord
