Puzzled. Different green colour tracks.

I am puzzled as to why some of the tracks I've been working on have changed to a different shade of green, which is darker than the relatively bright green I've been used to.
I see also segments in some tracks which are bright green, and then another segment which is a darker green in the same track. Must mean something - hopefully something useful I can use and control.

Is it because you
named a block. The naming field is shaded darker, so the white text can be seen
A screenshot would be nice
