This is my 2nd song. I'm still learning LMMS. Its far from perfectly produced. It sounds a bit quiet when i hear it on sound cloud. You might need to turn your volume up a bit. Any thoughts welcome.

Actually, I think you have done a great job. I think that the simple production in this case is actually a benefit to this style of short music. Most of the emphasis is on the catchy melody. The mix is good in terms of levels, though I would increase the stereo width a little with some panning. I would also suggest looking into the dynamics of the synths. Some notes seem oddly accented. You may want to tinker with the note velocity to get the ideal dynamics.

Thank you. In terms of the notes of the synths seeming accented, the synth is the preset: triple oscillator - power strings. I'm not entirely sure what makes the notes become accented and not accented.
I think that its maybe the filter 2x lowpass. But if i take it off or put another filter on i lose the sound altogether. Ideally i'd like the drop the same strong accent throughout. As for panning you mention, I'll do some research on panning and see what i can do.

I like this idea. Just wondering, have you applied any sidechaining onto the rest of the mix when the kick hits?

No worries. That should eliminate the mud generated on each kick by reducing levels of the rest of the mix when the kick hits, which would in turn give strength to your kicks as well. Hope you've found a method you're comfortable with. In case you need somewhere to start:

This is my fifth tune. I'm despite everything learning LMMS and
GarageBand. It's a long way from consummately created. It sounds somewhat calm when I hear it on sound cloud. You may need to crank your volume up a piece. Any considerations welcome.
