Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello all
I'm french and my english is pretty approximativ (?).
So I've just downloaded the 1.2.1 version on Linux Ubuntu 20.04.
I just try your software because I want to make music with some small part of other musics and with my own production with guitar.
So I just want to know if I can use some MP3, WAV, files registered on my Hard Disk. I hope to modify the tone of the sound from the extracted files to adjust it with the global music ? I don't know if my purpose is very clear ?
So thank you for your answers.
Regards.
If the answer is "Yes" I will have to understand how I can use the software.

Sadly you cant. -At least not in LMMS :p
But you can i Audacity!
I recommend you to get Audacity and to use that to shift tone
After you have done that You can use your new sound-files in lmms, but OBS! Not mp3!
So if you want to use lmms with your new soundfiles, you must export them from Audacity as wave flack or Ogg -They are supported in lmms
MP3 import is not (yet)!
