Sample-track vs changing tempo

This is only a minor inconvenience but every time I change the BPM of the song and attempt to load in a new sample, the program stops responding for some time before I can select anything.
Loading samples after the first attempt though, is very quick.
This problem may or may not be affected by the type of storage and computer.

Cant reproduce on win10 either with AFP or sample-track.
What sample are you using, and
* what format
* what length
* as AFP or sample-track
* What OS

I don't believe it's the sample that's the problem, since the problem happens before the sample is loaded.
Any length
Sample track
Windows 10 Home edition 1909
It may be my computer's problem.

I am afraid that it is. I cant reproduce any issue at all
