A couple problems I having - crashes - stuck windows

I have been having a couple problems since downloading LMMS about a week ago. I have used it on two computers and they follow me, so I am guessing these are problems with LMMS itself. I did a search of the forums and google, but didn't come up with anything.

The first is random crashes. Enough have happened at this point that I have determined they are not linked to any particular action, but at least every hour or so it will crash. It has probably crashed 30 times or more since I have been using it. I have learned to save often, so it hasn't been too big of an issue, but it still gets annoying after a while. Does anyone else have issues with this?

The other problem is accidentally causing windows to get stuck. Basically, if I am dragging a window, it is possible to keep dragging it until it is above the toolbar at top. Unfortunately, it renders under the toolbar, and there is no way to adjust the toolbar. This means if I release the window while it is too high, it ends up stuck behind it.

I am running on 64-bit Windows 7, using LMMS version 1.1.3. Any ideas on how to prevent these, or are these already known issues?

Thanks!

Regarding the stuck windows thing, I just noticed that the scroll bar adjusts to it. So that's my bad for being unobservant. haha

The scrollbar doesn't seem to adjust for the crashes though, so if anyone has any ideas on that, I wold be greatful! :)

I am on linux, and lmms is quite stable for me, if I don't use certain vst.

I need to be careful though, when I copy stuff in the song editor. If I release the mouse button, at a spot were I can't copy too, the next thing I see, is often the desktop. ( lmms crashing)

No this is not common behavior

What sound devise do you use? SDL is best for windows

Do you have background processes like skype MSN or aslike running together with lmms? What you describe could be 'simple' memory issues, and lmms runs best 'alone'

My last suggestion is unacceptable, but anywhitch - You could try x32 version. I have a feeling that it is more stable, especially if resources are limited, but i know its not optimal
What are your specs?
