quick question. There's no way for LMMS to play the zasfx release? The note must be as long as the release for it to sound.

That is not so, However you need to go into the zasfx own UI, and there are one for each voice, and one for the whole instrument!
Zasfx is very advanced, but also complicated.
I have made a whole series of tutorials on zasfx. Envelopes is also covered.

Ok. I didn't explain it so well . I'm making a similar 808 with zasfx and 3xosc. I draw a quarter note for 3xosc to sound but I need a whole note for zasfx. How can I get zasfx to recognize the release without a whole note? Like 3xosc.

Tried setting global and voice parameters but it doesn't work.

zasfx is difficult you can override sitting in one envelope with an other, and get confusing results
Open you project and save the zasfx preset as an XPF file
