Using a VST (TheFreeOrchestra) with Kontakt- no sound

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hey guys, let me walk you through what I’ve done:

Download TheFreeOrchestra from ProjectSam as NKI files
Install Kontakt (from Native)
Use the Kontakt.dll file as a VST in LMMS
this pulls up a Kontakt GUI in LMMS that lets me load instruments from TheFreeOrchestra
This is where everything stops working- there is no sound, no matter what I do. The interesting thing is that if I set MIDI output to channel 1, it plays as piano, so the notes are being read, there’s just no sound. Has anyone found a solution for this? Thanks!

It was mentioned that Kontakt doesn't work well with LMMS. If you want to use another free DAW compatible for Kontakt you may use SONAR Platinum ~~ Cakewalk by Bandlab.

Kontakt (from Native)
Atm lmms lack support for a couple of the rather new type of VST/ SF-players, that works with special patches. Most prominent Kontakt (from Native) and LABS.
In a later release these issues may be solved. Atm dont use these plugins, they can mess your projects up.
