I don't know whether a SKArk is a compressed soundfont or VST or what. I have a few SKArk files and I can't figure out how to use them in LMMS.

I have never heard about that type before, and it does not gives hits on google..... (!)
Do you mean that the extension is "SKArk" eg like " strange_file.SKArk "?
Do you remember where you got the files from?
