I'd really like to see a native plugin (like waveshaper, or spectrum analyzer) that can load Impulse Response files for new and interesting reverbs. I think this may be called 'convolution'. Many LV2 options exist, such as Klangfalter, IR, which I use to GREAT effect in Carla. Amazing sounds can be produced!
Ten years ago, one could still do custom reverb / IR with the TAP Reverberator companion software 'Reverbed' http://tap-plugins.sourceforge.net/reverbed.html, but that project has died and no longer compiles with jack2 or recent versions of GTK. The author of that project has switched efforts to IR http://factorial.hu/plugins/lv2/ir, an lv2 plugin. It would be great to see a similar thing available in native lmms.
