That is correct. LMMS does not support .os plugins.
LMMS support atm VST1, but You need WINE in order to use VST!
Firstly make sure you have the newest 1.2.2 AppImage of LMMS!
Then follow this guide: https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... _.26_Linux
Let us know the outcome :)
Thank you musicbear! i will try to follow the steps to solve this. thank you for helping me!

First remember that VST3 does not work yet, so if your plugin is VST3 (brand new) then it cant work. We hope to have lvl2 and VST3 working in next release.
Secondly, some VSTs are made with Maize, they do not register as VSTs at all. We used to list them here: https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Te ... o_NOT_work

In order to make a base test for VST You should try MDA-Piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy its dll to your VST-folder. Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win
Lets know the outcome :)

If that works, then your support for VST is 100%
