Hello!
Hi, Welcome to the Forum Eliz2020 !
Here are all important links:

I created a file, saved 3 different versions via "Save as New Version".
I just opened it and the instruments are all there, but NO beats. No sounds at all that were created, in any of the versions. They are completely silent.
That is very strange! You do have 1.2.2 installed ?
Atm i do not have an explanation, except if you are on a labtop, running only on batteries, eg a labtop that is
not plugged in. When labtops start to go down on electric charge, they can be problematic, especially when it comes to saving files. The reason is that the laptop attempt to keep it self 'alive', and if some of the household processes starts to suffer, then it can skip processes that is (falsely) regarded as 'less important'. You as a user can make some changes in setting, and enforce processes as file-handling to a higher priority, but then the laptop may 'respond' by simply crashing!
Bottom line: Always plug your laptop to the mains, when you are working with larger files!
(Afair i did write a paragraph on this in wiki, but that helps you NOT)
LMMS has a 'headup' for saving.
In the lower left corner, you will see a message everytime LMMS saves a file.
If you do NOT see the message
"The project ................ is now saved", then something went
wrong, and you must resave your work!
So your files..
I fear they are a lost case. I will gladly examine them for you, but i am not optimistic!
If you like:
upload the project,
AS MMP! -and send me the link as
PM (just right-click my name in byline and choose
Contact musikBear), i will take a look at it.
I also recommend you to read the chapter on file-security :
