Saving issues

Every time i save, LMMS creates a new project file, but doesn't actually save progress. This didn't happen before, does anybody have any idea why it would be happening now?

* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms version, and the site where you got it from
* lmms sound device chosen
