Yeah, so unplugged the comp after saving the project twice. No extra copy. Try to load it and it gives the "seems to contain errors and therefore can't be loaded" message. Is the file totally jacked or can a previous version of it be recovered? Oh, there were also a lot of ogg files inside, if that would contribute to any opening issues

havent seen that ogg-files caused this.
Please tell us 4 things:
Are there any VSTs in this project?
Do you get a specific name of a plugin, in the error message?
Is your project a mmp or mmpz?
what size does the project have on disk?

No vsts
Just read file location then that loading error message
Ive switched between mmp and mmpz through renaming, but was originall mmpz
Size i think is 13KB, but not sure, not at comp rn. I do know it's one of the largest projects ive done, but not the largest.

dont like that small size, but upload your project in a file-sharing page, and IM me the link, then i will try if i can rescue it, the size is not promising, but i will try.

Anything you are familiar with

are hated by some, but i have not had any issues, it will also let you remove the file later, in case you dont like your project 'lost in cyberspace' :p
