Greetings, I have seen indications that both GSnap and Graillion should be usable within lmms under Linux. Yet, after hours of googling and trial and error I cannot get either to install/work. All instructions I find for using them reference .dll and/or .exe files, but the Linux versions use .so files. I have created folders for vst plugins and added the files. They show up in the menus, but clicking them to add them to does nothing; literally nothing, no feedback of any kind. I have added a VSTige instrument and navigated to the files through the instrument, but it only looks for .dll and .exe, with no option for all files.
Are these plugins, and all others that are packaged as .so files simply useless to lmms? Are there ANY autotune-type plugins that work within lmms and, if so, can anyone tell me how to actually install them under BunsenLabs-Lithium/Debian 10? I don't need the T-Pain effect, I just need to be able to check and correct instrument and vocal tuning and it doesn't have to happen in real time.
I'm at a total loss here and can't find ANY related instructions specific to lmms on Linux or that contain any troubleshooting info of any kind; just "add the files to your vst directory and you're done", basically. Please help!
Thanks!
