Visual Aids

It would be nice if the compressor/limiter/etc had a visual aid like in FL...
Maybe also a better EQ? Say something like Fnequalizer/Fruity Parametric EQ 2? An EQ that has a spectrum analyzer in the background would be nice.

I second both ideas, especially on a compressor

I agree with this 100% - trying to eq, compress, filter etc. by ear alone is very difficult. Also, an update to the spectrum analyzer would be nice; the current one...isn't very good, to be honest.

and of cause you are all rigt
However
If you use linux, all of CALF plugins does have marvelous graphic-ui

In respect to EQ i recommend Nyquist or EASY-eq (links on VST-list)
For spectrum analyzing you can use blue-cat (dont save with it!!!)
or the more complicated SPAN.
But there are works on enhancing native lmms effects UI! -not scheduled.

Are you sure, they should have that great gui ? Can I do a bug report here ? The calf plugin I use on linux, look exactly as boring as on windows for me ?

They work fine though, which is more important.

On linux it should be like its shown here
http://calf-studio-gear.org/
If you scroll down to the 'plugin-section' on that page. I believe there was a post in a un-related topic, about how to set those GUI up, because it was somewhat strange, but i cant remember neither the thread header, or the topic
If someone knows how to get the CALF GUI working.. naeee forgedabuded - We better have a dedicated thread about this :p
