does anyone knows about a good plugin to measure bpm?
i've been trying to find one but to no avail

This isn't quite the answer you are looking for, but when I need a quick and dirty bpm match I just load it in a project, turn the metronome on, and raise/lower the tempo until it is in time.

Both suggested are useful, but you can actually use lmms to pinpoint the actual bpm in a recording.
Make a natural selection of what you would regard as a bar, in a program like audacity.
Then follow this guide and create a perfect loop.
The just read-out the BPM that creates that perfect loop.
It will make more sense, after you have watched the tutorial :)

You just listen to the song and tap along to the beat, and it calculates the BPM for you. I’d recommend using https://tapbpm.net/ – it’s super simple, accurate, and works right in your browser. You just tap to the rhythm, and it gives you the BPM instantly. Definitely a handy tool to have!
