what is base note for piano roll?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
what's wrong with piano roll LMMS
it always shift base note and change
idk why...

i suppose it C5 but it's not
I don't believe there is anything wrong with it. But it helps if you realise that is controlled for each instrument by the "keyboard" at the bottom of the instrument window as described in the documentation at https://lmms.io/documentation/Instrument_Editor

Whatever note has the green square above it is taken as being A4 (440Hz). That square doesn't move itself but if YOU move it to being over a different key you retune the notes that play from the keyboard and also in piano roll.

is the marker of the base-note, and i think it properly would help new users if the name actually was 'default-note'. We unfortunately have quite a lot of those kind of nomenclature-issues, and changes are in fact adding to the combined confusion :)

Now
it always shift base note and change
You shouldent actually be looking at a project from LSP?
Because it is possible to automate the base-note, and then it surely moves like cracy. One of lmms earliest talented users, made several tracks where moving of the base-note was a very prominent feature. If its one of those tracks, then it is a serious confusing pleasure to watch the preset :D
Il be damnd if i remember his username... ~2009/10'ish i think it would have been.
He left for FLs and wanted to go pro. He was good!
