How do I open and play a .fxp file?

Hi, I just download a pack from Cymatics and all the files in there are .fxp files. I put them into the sample folder but still couldn't play them. I put them into the present folder and still couldn't play them. I tried to put them into the VST plugin but it only accepts .dll files. Is there any other way I can open and play the fxp files in LMMS?

.FXP is a proprietary format used by a plugin named
T-Force Alpha Plus for its
own presets
It is freeware and you can download it from

Install it as any other VST, and open your preset .fxp with it.

Actually, fxp is a generic format used by many many VST plugins, you need to know what plugin those presets are for and install that. Then you can load the VST plugin via VeSTige and then load the fxp preset in the plugin.

Upon loading .fxp preset I got this error. How do I solve it ?

You need to use the correct VST. If the file is for that VST, then its propl. corrupted, and then there is nothing to do.

Yes, this is VST to load .fxp presets. Fxp file shouldn't be corrupted and I think it is not.

Since the .fxp files were from Cymatics, they're likely Serum (from xfer records) presets. You need Serum, & the .fxp files need to be stored in the presets folder (C:\\Users\\Home\\Documents\\Xfer\\Serum Presets\\Presets\\foldername)
