Effective way to sidechain vocals in LMMS

Often I do spoken word over a soundtrack so would like to route all tracks (except vocals) to a bus and then use the vocals as a sidechain 'trigger' to lower the bus volume as it hits. This was pretty easy in Reaper but I'm trying to make a full move to LMMS.
I have read tutorials about sidechaining in LMMS and found this YouTube video https://youtu.be/KV59mr5fxOU very helpful for sidechaining kick and bass. (I got that to work). But I am wondering if that technique would work with vocals. Or if there is a better technique? I could just TRY, of course, but working with unfamiliar software is pretty fatiguing for me (I'm almost 60 years old). So I thought I'd ask first.
For my last project, I just exported all instruments to one track and the vocals to another track and did the "auto duck" in Audacity, which came out pretty good. However, an all-in-one solution is preferable.
