I am on Linux, which is a bit more like mac then windows, and I can only guess that you need wine.

GPS but what do i do once i download wine and the vst (i made a vst folder)
Start LMMS, insert vestige in the song editor. Click on the folder icon, of the vestige panel, and browse to the (prob) .dll file.

This guy is on windows, but that does not matter, for how to use vst.

If its an exe file, you can try but they mostly don't work for me on Linux with wine.
Some do, because synth1 also has an exe file, and that one does works for me on Linux.
( For synth1 you need to run the exe file ones, before you use it, and or if you add presets)
In vestige you don't load the exe, but the .dll file.

Synth1 might be a good synth, to test if you're setup is working right.
Too bad not all vst will work for us on mac and linux, they only work on windows.

There are however aloso vst that do support mac and or Linux, without the need of wine.
I think it might be because I'm on a mac but i don't have vestige...
I had the same issue one time, on Linux, no vestige. It was because I did not have wine installed.

I wish we had some experienced mac users on these boards. They could prob tell you how to get wine on a mac.
I actually did install wine but i honestly don't know what the heck I'm suppose to do with is except have it on the screen. But what did you do to get vestige?
If I have wine installed, and then install lmms, vestige is there when I open lmms.

Damn, I just checked the release notes of lmms for mac.
