I installed izotope ozone stereo image and can't load it into the fx chain. I installed the dll into the correct folder yet it won't show on the add fx dialog. i also tried installing the dll to where the LADSPA fx are installed, i tried every folder a VST could be installed in but it won't show up on lmms. Maybe adding something that could allow you to drag dll files into an fx chain could help?

Are you sure you have installed it in the correct directory? if yes, are you spelling it correct (if you are searching for it)? There is no reason why dll shouldn't show up unless it does not satisfy the above criteria or are invalid.
What you have suggested is also a feature request. However, I cannot comment on that and it is best for musikbear to let us know what will be done about the suggestion.

Should, but first the correct folder is the one you have selected as your VST-plugin-folder, in
Edit|Settings| Directories|
https://docs.lmms.io/user-manual/gettin ... irectories
Is that the one you inserted the dll into?
Have you made sure that dll is not a VST3?
Can you load other VSTs effects from that same folder?

In respect to dragging effects dll into lmms, it is not in the makings, The architecture does not allow it atm.

I also had installation problems for the previous izotope ozone vst. Maybe it was the version I was using.

Was it a .dll-file. If not it is a vst3 -read below:

I hate something like that, something else is always left somewhere just because you don't feel like programming something right from the start to the end, for whatever reason. Sucking stuff like that.
