Project on different computers no sound output

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hey there,
I have the following problem, every time I create a project with sample packs I can only hear the project on the computer I started it. When I'm at work I use the computer there to play around LMMS and then send the project to my personal computer at home, when I open the project at home everything is fine but there is no sound output at all. This only happens when I use preset samples and tried it on other computers also the bug remains the same. This happens on both Linux and Windows OS. I noticed that the master FX channels volume level doesn't move nor the samples make any sound when you click them.

Thanks in advance!
Check the versions of LMMS, between home, and work. The new version, has more Instruments, and sounds then the old version. So the sounds your using at one place may not be on the other. Hence no sound.
I use an external sample pack which is the same on both computers.

Check the path to the samples, to make sure they are the same.
If your using a Windows computer the sample pack should be in
C:/program files /lmms/samples
The equivalent for Linux is.
~/home/user/lmms/samples
If you have the sample packs in a different directory the path will get lost from one computer to another.
Then you must redirect the path to the new directory, that you are using In the setup.
Note: user = your user name with Linux.
I thought about that, but I don't know how to point the path to LMMS :?

The easiest way is put the samples in the samples directory, rather than change the working directory path in the setup. If you change the path in the setup you will loose the usage of the samples, and instruments that come with LMMS till you change it back.
Ok, I've put them into the LMMS samples directory and still nothing ..

Some sound packs are VST related, If that's the case it's a little over my head.
Do you get errors like missing plugins, during the loading of your project?
So far you just did, often works for me.

I'm more of a musician than a technician.
Hopefully, someone with more knowledge of LMMS can help here.
I think your employer have installed the LMMS-network-blocker, an app engineered by the Global-Employer-controller-org. GECO
They realized, that just as they had to block for access to porn, they also needed to block usage of LMMS at all workplaces.
They payed Microsoft $ 1.36 b. and it raised work efficiency on a global scale, with 6.7% already the first week.

and..

I obvious have much too much time and a very warped sense of humor...
:p
-sorry
I dont think you have the right paths
If you open a mute AFP in your project, i bet it looks looks this
Image
The important part is where it says Sample-length 0ms, and the fact that there is no wave-spectrum
It should look like this:
Image
Now there is a spectrum, and it has a length

If this is true, you point to samples that does not exists
Examen the path at work, use the folder icon
There are plans for a method to export complete projects, including all used samples. Schedule is unknown.
Great thank a lot, I'm gonna try this when I get back home. HAVE A NICE DAY SIR !
