Can't reproduce triple oscillator sound from cool song

Hello everyone.

So, I've been trying to reproduce a song I like, which I found on the LSP. Here's the original track:

https://polimi365-my.sharepoint.com/:f: ... NmR9FzyPzQ

I started by removing the effects from the lead oscillator. I then tried to reproduce this stripped-down version of the instrument starting from a raw osc. The below link is my attempt at doing this. The oscillator which I tried to repduce is named "TargetOsc wo Effects" and "MyAttempt" is, well... my reproduction attempt. All this is summarized in the project's notes.

https://polimi365-my.sharepoint.com/:f: ... a7GFFK0MAg

So the main problem is the clipping... but also the sound seems to be missing lower frequencies and is all around less punchy. But I can't find any other alterations to "MyAttempt" which would bring it closer to "TargetOsc"... at this point. Really, it looks like a carbon copy to me.

So any help is appreciated, it would be a life achievement to make triple oscillators sound like that XD

PS. I noticed that the folder names of the files I shared are messed up and could be confusing. Just ignore them and go for the mmpz files.

In the orr version, the builder could have effects on the mixer channel, have you looked at that?

Thanks I appreciate the welcome.

I don't think I know what you mean by "builder", but I have checked the effects applied to the Osc's fx channel.

Also I don't know what the orr version is.

I've made another track in an attempt to isolate the problem even further. It contains only two instruments: "Target" comes from a preset taken from the above mentioned cool song. It is what I would like to imitate/undestand, but stripped down from all of its effects and mofications. Below is "Basic" which is just a default triple osc for demonstrational purposes. Still "Target" sounds wetter in some way... this track should make it very easy to find what is missing for an expert user. I'm still very much a beginner by the way (have been using lmms for a week now).

The track: https://polimi365-my.sharepoint.com/:u: ... XcrkUEbWKA

Thanks a lot for the quick support.
