iZotope Vinyl does not work

When I add it as an effect, or even host it in VeSTige, I can see its GUI and edit parameters but it makes sound completely cut out.
I am running 64 bit LMMS, and I've tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Vinyl.
Also, the website says that it does not run in 64 bit hosts because it is a 32 bit plugin, but I am assuming that this info is outdated because there is a 64 bit version in the installer.
If any more info is needed, tell me please.

Oh, okay. Why exactly do some VSTs not work in LMMS though?

Maybe someone else can answer that, but here is a list of vst that do work.
(others might work too, you can only try them to find out)

@avery the main reason why some VST's don't run inside LMMS is because LMMS does not use the Steinberg SDK for loading VST's. It uses VeSTige, which is a reverse-engineered solution. The reason LMMS can't use the VST SDK is because VST is a proprietary standard, and owed by Steinberg. As such, it can't be used inside LMMS because LMMS is GPL-licensed.
The current lack of debugging and building on windows makes it really hard for the developers to fix VST related bugs. But there is some progress on that, so when LMMS becomes debugable on windows, It'll be easier to fix those issues.
Hope I made stuff clearer

You made everything clear, thanks a lot!
