hello gentleguys,

it's lmms 1.1.3 I am using on jessie (Debian 8 ) and when I add effects/plugins in FX Mixer to instruments in different channels the additions are not kept (although I save the project regularly). Next time I start the project and open FX Mixer on a channel I worked with I am presented with a blank effect chain pan.
Your help would be most appreciated.

naee.. you propl haven't set focus on the channel
Let say you have inserted a c*eq at Ch-3
Next time you open the project, the fx-chain in focus is not fx3, it would be master. Click on the name-tag for fx-3
It should turn green
Is the effect not there now?
If not, please upload the project-mmp-file, and il take a look on it.

thank you for your quick reply and exhaustive explanation but I did open the channel in question in FX-Mixer and the effect-chain pan was empty. Today, after reading your reply, I checked it once more (it was empty) I added some effects, saved reloaded the project and they were in place! Very weird.
So, presently there is no point in sending the file (which I downloaded from http://www.packtpub.com/sites/default/f ... ter_10.zip)
Yet, if it starts again unseemly tricks I'll report it here.
