Can't change BPM

Hello. LMMS 1.13 (not only, 1.0.0 also). I filled timeline in song editor (Beat/Bassline track) using VST plugin. Then saved project, closed LMMS. After opening this project I can't change BPM! It changes, but after Play button clicking the value returns to back. What can I do to solve this problem?

One thing that will do that is if you have Automation set up for tempo. Try right click on the BPM box, select "Remove Song-global Automation" and then change the BPM.
