Pitch Changing is wacky

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I'll make this simple
track (and presumably project) pitch changing through automation is more in character for garageband than for lmms. I can only change up to and down to 2 semitones, and in existing midis that I have tested in synthesia and windows media player extensively the changes are <10% of normal.

Example:

If y'all compose experimental electronic music and don't see what's wrong, then here is the original song:

And, to those who may think it is a problem with the way the midi was transcribed or just is, here is output from media player:

Noo -You can change from 1 semitone -> (afair) 6 octaves.
You need to understand that the RANGE settings controls the spread/ granularity of the PITCH dial.
Default RANGE is 1.
In that setting PITCH is one semitone up, and one down, so 2
Now change RANGE to 12. you now span an octave!
RANGE goes up to 64, so you have a huge span of PITCH on all instruments.
Master-pitch on Main-controller spans over 4 octaves afair
Thank you. That fixes the limitation. I saw the range dial and didn’t correlate it with the pitch.

However, I this still doesn’t fix the midi import pitch problems
The messed up pitch bends on import is still plaguing me, a year later. Any setting that I’m missing, or something?

No, if the midi does not create a automation, then pitch is not imported, and you need to make the feature, in the new mix.
