I just downloaded some instruments and I was just wondering how to add them to lmms.

please post your:
* Name of your **Operative System** (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* Your downloaded instrument type & **version** and the *site* where you got it from.

When you say instruments, do you mean presets or do you mean VSTs?
VSTs can be opened from the VeSTige host plugin in-LMMS.
Presets have to be placed in the C:/Users/(username)/Documents/lmms/presets (for windows. Linux/Mac may be different) folder, after which when you open LMMS and open the presets sidebar you can drag these presets into song editor / beat-bassline editor and use them.

If you're speaking about Vst instrument plugins like Synth 1 etc, and you're using lmms on windows, look for the lmms plugins folder, then look for the folder called VST, and put your vst plugins into that folder.
