[LMMS Custom + guitar solo] Solaris - Fractal II

First things first, the guitar is just the stock synth. I believe that everybody should be able to listen to my music without having to download any additional files. Second, I know I'm like a couple of days late for posting this to BoL9, but I didn't want to post this song to the competition anyways.

I decided to remake Fractal entirely from scratch. With resources from the old Fractal and Nifty Sardine's Fractal Remix, I created a "2022 update" of one of my most popular songs, taking ideas from both, as well as adding in new ideas. I started this project on Christmas Day in 2021 and I finally finished it just before summer begins. I just wanted to see how better I can make this song because it still has its' flaws ever after the Updated Audio release. I've also tried something new - and the result of that is LMMS's shittiest solo medley of all time.

Keep in mind that I don't have any professional knowledge in music production and I'm just doing this for fun.

I've decided to still upload to Soundcloud. Here's the track: https://soundcloud.com/solaris_lmms/fractal-ii

Bro, this sounds really nice. Wow! 8-)
Finally listened to this on yt. Very cool! Feels like it has somewhat more upper range, background, and general clean-ness (in the instruments) than the original Fractal. Was a pleasure to listen to. That weird electric guitar part is especially cool, love what feels like a portamento/well-handled pitch bend. Will download.

Okay, maybe I'm not really an expert in this field - like not at all. But at least to my amateur eyes it really doesn't show! Everything sounds very clean and high quality and the synths are great. You've really mastered the ZynAddSubFX. Actually I just connected the dots in my head realizing you're also the one that made "Crowns", so I shouldn't be too surprised.
