When will LMMS release 1.3.0 as stable version?

I hope I posted it in the right category.

When will LMMS release 1.3.0 as stable version instead of nightly?
Yes, I'm also interested in this question! I've been using 1.3.0 since a while now and I think it is a great improvement compared to the current stable version. For me, there is no reason to go back to 1.2.2.
Few years at least. Unlikely to happen anytime within this year or the next. LMMS is on a dev-crunch and we need more attention to the project.
if you can code in C++, though, and want to see this happen, contributing directly to the project is a small step to a stable 1.3 version.

I see, thanks for clarification. Wouldn't it be a good idea, that LMMS could initiate a crowdfunding campaign and just hire some coders to accelerate the development process? I believe, there are alot of people who want to contribute to LMMS, but they have no coding skills, but only money. And as we know, you can buy skills with money :D

I agree with this lol. LMMS is the best music making application in my opinion. It is lightweight and free and it will only get better. I hope this app can rival FL studio. I think krita is the rival of any paid paint software and LMMS can be the new krita but in music production.

Oops my bad lol. Okay thanks for the information. I am glad to be a new member of this community :D

oh and I wanna ask something. Does this forum also has anything to do with LMMS subreddit? I visited it once and it said that the subreddit is the official subreddit of LMMS. Does that mean there are some representatives on there?
LMMS already has somewhere you can donate to the project, I believe.
