Tremolo effects missing after Importing MIDI

Does LMMS import the modulator and instrument changes from MIDIs?

I wanted to import some old MIDIs for my VST instruments, but this could be problematic for me if things like tremolo is stripped in the importing process.

Doesn't import. Depending on the creation program, it could import SOME modulations but not all.

I think you just should try.
LMMS does import automation from midi-files, but that is not enough. SF2 player also have to support it. Here you could tryout a different SF2-player, and see if that works better with the file modulations, than Sf2-player

Any suggestions? I was not aware of any other SF2 plugins for LMMS. I'm still pretty unfamiliar with DAW related programs.

Though again, even the Chipsynth SFC VST doesn't work with the tremolo/instrument changes.

They all work fine with SynthFont2, so I know it can't be the MIDIs themselves.

I don't think tremolo is a valid MIDI message, and if it is it must be a very recent addition.
I also am not sure if tremolo is actually saved as automation track.
May not work.

No i dont know any, but one simple search:
https://hiphopmakers.com/best-free-soun ... vst-plugin
Gave me ten.

Tremolo is maby best made with automation or a FX-plugin
