Hello! I've been trying to download LMMS for a while now and it constantly shows up with the same "needs authorization" error.
are there any solutions to this? or at least suggestions?

Are you using a Mac?
To fix this, you need to be logged in as administrator.

If you're not using an Apple OS, then get back to us with screenshot of the problem.

LMMS is not 'signed with MS'. That cost a lot of money, and we dont do that.
What MS does is to throw a warning in win10.
You ned to scroll out to the right where an option button is found. Press that, and a new box appears that looks like:

Here you choose 'run-anyway'
Let us know the outcome :)
