Hello, i'm new with lmms and i want to make a track similar to this https://zldfn101.tumblr.com/post/671752 ... e-music-of, i don't know the genre or what instruments it uses so i was wondering if someone could help me.

That genre is cinematic-ambient, with typical pads and drones making a dark soundscape.
The factory instruments you can get great sounds like these from, would especially be ZynAddSubFX and the collection Pads.
I also recommend you to take a look at the free VST alianoctis by the sadly passed HG Fortune. That is an outstanding tool for this genre

That is a question about learning alionoctis. Experiment
If this is your preferred music-style, then spending half a day experimenting with alionoctis will be a joy. Save presets when you get something you like!
Bot all knows that they can save VST-presets, but LMMS can do that too
Click the disk-icon:
Image Label is SAVE, and you get an option to save the settings inside the VST, to a new preset. Do save these in your lmms-user-area! myPresets in a subfolder! That is important if you at a later time get a new pc!
