Monospace- Music

Share and discuss your LMMS music projects here, and see what people think!
I was asked for links to my music. Since I don't put it on any streaming service, here's this huge list of google drive links.
I'm not sorry.
Archive.org link to this post here. so you can view it there. Outlinks Saved, I hope :)

Recent projects I like: Larger/whole-r projects I like: Remixes and covers: Experiments on specific concepts:

Predictably, a majority of the experiments on concepts for the first time have used the concepts too much and, as such, may sound unusual.
More details about each project, in the description section of the file in the drive links.

(Quoted aside because they're more of an aside, so to make them more distinct as separate from everything else. How do I hide things so they're visible only when a button's clicked?)
  1. Dynamics/chords
  2. Percussion
  3. Stereo:
  4. Drums/Bass
  5. Modern day pop
  6. TimeSig / Swing
  7. Compression / Sidechaining
  8. Layering of instruments
  9. Actual bassline
  10. Trying to make the music bad
  11. Arpeggios
  12. Using vocals
  13. Styles
Master folders with my music:
  • Folder 1 ("Likely final but incomplete anyways," for larger projects size-wise): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... 4LBFGjH_Bk
  • Folder 2 (etc): (Removed because it contains most of my raw ideas too, while containing most of my music and smaller projects as well. If you enjoy any of my music enough to want to listen to more, let me know and I will PM you the link.)
(Novava had asked for this.

I really hope, that we will see your songs here very soon.
Here you go, mate. About time I got this done, so... Thanks for the prompting. I'm proud to be able to say that I now have a "collection" of my music, available for listening, on the forums for interested users.)

Edit 28/3/2022 Updating broken links after a minor accidental deletion. If any broken links are found, please get back to me.
Edit 23/4/2022 Added some links. Updated some links.
Edit 4/5/2022: Added April Christmas under Percussion.
Edit 13/5/2022: Added Horizon- mAlex (remix) under Remixes, Layering, Recent Large Projects. Added Resolve under Layering. Updated archive.org link.
Edit 5/3/2024: Puppet mainly. Added several, including time signature. Updated archive.org link

This list will be periodically updated whenever I make something I particularly like. Uh, hopefully. No promises. But I plan to, at the moment. If I don't edit it for a while, just check out the "etc" folder, it's where I put my recent music.
I'm glad, that you made the decision to share your music with us! I have now listened to a couple of songs and my favourite is so far FTDLS. It has some very cool subtle sounds and sweeps, dynamic melodies. The marimba song is also very good.

Keep updating this thread! 👍👍 😃
OUYM sounds very catchy!

Also, how did you create ultra low bass sounds in Trial3 from 00:24 onwards?

Added and updated some links today.
Consider listening to the new additions under Remixes/covers. Note that I am unlikely to update them, and they are definitely incomplete.
As always, inform me if a link seems broken, if you want more information about a specific track, or if you want access to my entire folder for tune ideas.

Added:
Remixes/covers: Nevada, Control, BuzzerBeater
Dynamics/choirds; Megalovania Shape Of You Chords (in no way related to the original songs)
Layering of instruments: Recuperation
Trying to make the music bad: 2603, Nonsense

Added new sections with new links:
Arpeggios: Arpy, 1204
Using Vocals: HuaVoiced

Updated:
103 (new link)
New track added under Percussion, April Christmas: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19VoBed ... sp=sharing
It's NOT complete, but it's one of the first in a line of many where I try to consciously blunt the impact. Trying not to worry about volume levels too much, and it's much more stressful than worrying about volume levels. For an attempt at what I did, given what I make, I think this is pretty decent.
Added Horizon- mAlex (Monospace Remix), main topic https://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35488 (added under Remixes, also added under Layering and Recent Large Projects I Like or whatever it's called)

It's one of my first large projects. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HV-j1C ... sp=sharing

Also added Resolve under layering https://drive.google.com/file/d/106sL1X ... sp=sharing
Also updated archive.org link
This archive you make is a very good move , you can return to these after years .
The last song , I have never heard it before , strange decision? although it reminds of some other songs .
I see most of the projects are incomplete I'm at the same situation and I guess it's hard to reach some satisfying result .
The 20 years I'm trying to make music I allways had in mind that what I do is ideas and not actual songs .
And mostly just spending my time having fun .
So, the biggest part of my archiveI Is completely lost by various ways, others I have some random cd back up .
Only the audio file and no chance to rework them . Sadly many where good songs . I mean entire albums . LOST!

Making an archive is something everyone should take seriously .

I do have the first albums though which aint great but it's something . I remember I was using a demo version of fruity loops where you could export audio but not save the project .so making small parts and putting together pieces making songs .
Update: Apparently, my link to proj1EDITABLE,FUNCTIONAL3 was wrong. New link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R4a4Hn ... sp=sharing
My old link, before correction, was just the drums and some background instruments.
I was really surprised. Oh well... Fixed now. proj1ef3 now points to the correct link. Will update archive.org link.
Some more info about the track:
It was made in collaboration with a friend of mine. Originally, there was just this track which I had made in Chrome Music Lab. I sent them a list of things I'd done in CML up till that point. They liked this track, so they suggested collaborating over it. They used BandLab, and I used LMMS. After a bit of back-and-forth, I extracted her drums and created my own drum line. They liked it. Then I added my own tune over it with a "spooky" instrument, and they didn't like it, so I made it louder and more obvious, and they liked it.
At some point the collaboration dissolved, and I tried to continue it myself, but I did a poor job. That's ok :)
Updates.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LfS_8l ... sp=sharing Arabian Nights under Drums/Bass
New section, Styles.
SLGH: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yFbBp0 ... sp=sharing
Puppet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TDu7tB ... sp=sharing
SLGH sounds nothing like glitch hop, and is actually pretty poor- I made it a few months ago, and at the time it sounded good.
