I'm making an FNF song and I want one of the notes to drop in pitch in a single note if that makes sense.

Have you tried pitch bending in piano roll? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEPfxclUwOE

Thank you I tried that but didn't know you need 2 dots to make it work.
Edit: It wont work, does it matter that I am using a sound font
have you tried using the pitch wheel in the instrument window?

you may have to manually set the pitch bend range in whatever plugin you're using

Automating the pitch dial, might be able to do that.

Yes, SF cant pitch-bend in piano-roll
You do need to use automated PITCH, but it is important that you understand the way RANGE work!
Default RANGE will only bend one semitone!

If you want to pitch over an octave, you need a RANGE of 12.
RANGE covers 5 octaves afair, so you can bend a lot!
