LMMS With Roland SD-90 or similar device

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I recently purchased a Roland SD-90 Midi synthesizer. I realize that it is a fairly old device, with little support, but have managed to get the drivers running - however, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the midi sound into my computer.

I have set up the device to run connected to my midi-keyboard, and am trying to get it to connect and output it's own sound to LMMS, rather than simply control the synthesizer on the wavetable selected.

How would I do this, or is it even possible?

Thank you! Keep us updated when you have news.
Not sure if I understand the situation correctly, but you want to get audio from the Roland into LMMS, right?
Because if that's the case, it won't be easy until audio input functionality gets fully implemented in LMMS. Right now it's not quite possible directly.

Oooo...
If:
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the midi sound into my computer.
Means what you think -eg that the OP want to get ROLAND-sounds from one of the hardware banks to play inside LMMS, Then that is a NOGO atm, and properly for good, because that is not at all how a MIDI-keyboard is supposed to work with DAWs!
A press on a MIDI-keyboard-key is supposed to activate an instrument in LMMS-songeditor!
That is the expected and implemented functionality.
Roland SD-90 is a sound module, although it's a bit shadowy what exactly do they want to achieve.
Hiron: If you could describe the situation more precisely, like what connects to what, that would help us to help.
Even though LMMS can't capture audio, in capable other programs it should not be different than recording any other audio input device.

Roland SD-90 is a sound module,
Indeed it is!
Stupidly i assumed it was a MIDI-KB 🤪
That changes things

Then i think You Hiron need to find Roland SD-90 in your Settings for Audio, and select that as backend. In your manual there may be some info about cmd-string that you need to insert in the DEVICE field

Drivers may be found online
Thats my best guess. I dont know a lot about HW audio-plugins 🙄
