My LMMS folder and projects disappeared

Idk what’s happening but my whole ass lmms folder deleted and all my projects with it. When I looked in my OneDrive I had like 600 files called recover.mmp.bak. Was my folder deleted cause my computer thought it was a virus?

Of cause you have looked in paper-basket???
Do you have virusprotection installed?
If nothing there the complete directorie has been hard-deleted. That is not done manually without Pressing two keys simultaneously, and selecting yes on a warning,
Because of that, i rule out that you have accidental deleted the directorie.
Since you say that your projects are lost, i assume that the LMMS-folder that has been deleted is Documents/LMMS
Is your C:\Program Files\LMMS intact?
If it is you should be able to open LMMS.
If you have chosen the Setting-option open-last-project you should get a popup with a warning

If you have NOT chosen the Setting-option open-last-project Use the
button and select to open the topmost project. you should get a popup with a warning

Check OneDrive's and Windows' Recycle Bin, plus OneDrive’s Version History to recover files. Exclude the LMMS folder from syncing to avoid future issues—it was likely flagged by OneDrive or antivirus because of the many backup files.
