new: Sample disc?

So, im totally new to LMMS and tbh i love it, but i like to record my own guitar and i was hoping that i could could do with samples what you can with the triple oscillator? like with the discs like when you open up the settings after pressing "tripleoscillator", is this possible at all? thank you in adavance

At the moment LMMS has no sound-recording features at all.
I recommend
audacity
http://web.audacityteam.org/
for audio-recording.
Unfortunately, LMMS is feature-weak when it comes to using long samples.
Sample-track plugin, is the 'weakest-link' in LMMS. See if you can manage with Audiofileprocessor (AFP) for sample work

Here is a piece, made up from sound samples. The guitar and flute was recorded using Audacity, and a Allen & Heath zed10fx mixer with 2 Spark Studio Level 3 Microphone's plugged into the computer via usb. The trick is keeping the samples less than 2 minutes then blending the samples together.
