Hello! I'm writing here cause last week I started to have problems when loading a vst plugin. Or better, I can load them but then the sounds are very dirty and they doesn't sound like 2 weeks ago or every time I used them until last week. When I load a vst, it sounds very bad and I can't understand why. I tried to change directory, to move the plugins in different folders. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall LMMS again but the problem's still there. I don't understand how to solve it because in this moment I can't work on my previous projects because they would sound like a growl. Let me know how I can solve this. Thanks!

Since it was a week ago this started i would be surprized if you havent cold-booted your pc(?) -If
not do
That
The other plausible reason would be that you has done a backend-change, then you could get that problem. On windows the best back-end is
SDL
Take care of these checks! Let us know the outcome !

Hi! Thanks for the answer but I'm not so good so I don't understand what cold-booted means and also I don't understand what backend change means. I would like to know more about those, and also SDL, if it's possible. I really need to make LMMS work well again because I really need my sounds and plugins to produce ahah. Sorry if I ask for more infos

Sorry my fault
SDL is one of the available audio backends, and the one that works best with windows
You select that in
Edit| Settings| Audio
-And here select
SDL

Let us know if it fixed your problem! If not there are other things, but start there
Remember to shut LMMS down and reopen it after you have changed to SDL!
Cold-boot is a term in computer usage:
