Do you have a perfect pitch?
If not, doing it by ear is probably not gonna work.
I do not understand what you mean by preview.
LMMS knows a ton of chords.
Does this help ?

When you have the piano roll open, you can click the keys to hear what they sound like before you place the notes. I wanted to know if you could do that with the chord option selected.Gps wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 1:54 amDo you have a perfect pitch?

Hi, Welcome to the Forum Dum-Dum-Um!
Yes it is a tiny bit difficult to explain, but i have made a video that demonstrate not only how to pre-'view'/ hear any size chords in piano-roll, even if only a PC-keyboard is used -That will restrict the possible simultaneous played notes to 3, but with this method, you can play any number.is if there's a way to preview chords on the piano roll the same way you can with single keys?
