Helicopter effect if reducing cutoff frequency (envelope tab

If, while an instrument note is playing, I go on the envelope tab of an instrument, change Resonance to full, and then bring cutoff frequency to 0 very fast, I get a helicopter like sound.

This doesn't happen if I do it slowly.
This happens with some filters, but not others.

[strikethrough]Same[/strikethrough] Similar buffering thing happens on equalizer, but only on bandpass, and again moving down very fast.
While I haven't seen a similar bug report filed, I don't understand what is going on and am unsure of whether/how I am to write a report for this one.
