Synth1 crashes on Arch Linux

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello! I really love Synth1, but sadly it doesn't work for me anymore as I changed to Arch Linux. At first, when dragged to the Song Editor, it just made LMMS stop working. I installed Wine, but now when I drag Synth1 to the Song Editor Wine just tells me it crashed for an unknown reason. Dragging a Synth1 dll also pumps the CPU usage to 100%.

Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, is there a fix? And if there isn't, are there any good alternatives to Synth1?

Thanks in advance!

I hope we can fix it :)
Are you using LMMS-AppImage, and did you get it from here:
https://lmms.io/download#linux
If you do not, then please un-install current Version of LMMS completely, and install our AppImage, not any file from any other source
Let us know the outcome :)

Besides that, since you are new in Forum

No problem here on OpenSUSE, which is like Arch an rolling release.
Hmm. Did you just drag the .dll in?

I found that if I first drag in a VeSTige plugin and then open the .dll there, it sometimes works, but usually doesn't. However, when I open the project again, it says it couldn't load Synth1

Thank you for the reply! I installed LMMS by a command, so I'm not sure which version I'm using. I'll check that out!
I know its not the official Linux way, nor the official Arch way, but your best off downloading LMMS from the link provided by musikbear.

https://lmms.io/download#linux

Then after downloading the file, change the rights so it will be executable.

Then double click the appimage file, to start LMMS.

This wont install LMMS on your system, but if you want we can deal with that later.
First we need to know, if the Appimage version works fine.

Just for info on what an appimage file is:
