Not everyone has their sample packs stored in c drive and now if I have to move everything to the lmms samples folder it'll be a huge burden. Please add the option to add custom samples folders.
I'm aware that there's a way to look for files in the desktop via The My Computer option but that's pretty inconvenient if the packs are stored deep in the drive. Thus I ask for an option to add a samples folder.

You can use symlinking ( https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/c ... -or-linux/ ) as a temporary workaround.

You do not have to.
Just change the path in Edit| Settings| Path| LMMS-working-directory to anywhere you prefer.
Only limitation is the it must be outside System-folders!
Most in LMMS are possible to customize, but if you want to keep all in default, then do as Monospace says: use symlinks.
