Do VST with Wine on Linux sound as good as VST on Windows?

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
I'm not sure if it is my imagination but I compared the same project on Windows 10 and on Lubuntu 20.04. The Windows 10 version sounds a little sharper and clearer than the Linux (Wine) version.

The VST plugins (with Wine) are A1 Trigger Gate and VladG Limiter n6

Has anyone compared VST plugins with Linux/Wine vs. Windows? What do you think? Do they sound the same or different?
I never compared plugins, but have noticed mp3 to sound different on Windows verses Linux. (same hardware) (openSUSE vs win 10 and win 7)

Nothing some EQ can't solve though.

Yeah, I'm thinking it could be a combination of things.

Did you use same backend in both exports?
SDL is 'only*' good one for windows, but my guess is that you used JACK with Linux(?)
SDL works ok in linux too, so any comparing should be SDL v. SDL

*ASIO is good too, but prone for crash
