What does TAP reverberator do?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Does it put in a specific kind of reverb? What kind of reverb? How does it work?

On an unrelated note, what does the little temperature knob does in amp IV? it feels like it doesn't do anything for me.

Thanks a ton.

It is just a reverb. The 'erator' is just meant as some kind of 'coolness'
So a reverb.
In general the plugin has an amplifying-effect. You should compensate the VOL for that.
The plugin is build/ depends on Coombs-filtering.
Without Coomb on, there is no reverb at all!
Try coomb alone
Decay sets how long the signal should be influenced by the plugin
0 means that there is on reverb.
Dry & Wet level has its 0-pos in ~ 03:30 on the clock
In 0 position the signal is neither dampened or enhanced
Dry-positive value, will enhance the input, and there is a significant amplifying!
Wet-positive value, will reverb the reverb, and there is a HUGE amplifying!
The filters Allpass & BandPass is assisting in clip-damping. Most producers will always use a AllPass on ANY signal!
Lastly we have a stereo-enhance ON/Off option.
Forgot the preset-dial :p
Type of reverb has 42 different presets as 'base'-type. They can then be modulated with all the other dials

The term 'temperature' refers to very subtle changes of the signal.
There is a difference of width of the signal measured in sub-harmonics.
But it is in the area where the signal is very close to 0 dB.
However -using an oscilloscope you will also be able to measure a higher peak.
You cant hear it.
