Being able to set specific values for each note

It's like seeting volume and panning for each note. Just with other stuff, which you can assign from anywhere. Like the cutoff in an instrument. An cool example: You assigned the portamanento of a synth to that, und for some notes you choose more portomanento and for some less.
Sure you can do that with automation.. but that's not just as easy and cool as my idea! What do you think?

With your midi keyboard you can set the volume of each note with key velocities.
When it comes to panning the notes you can do it, via the piano roll. You can also set a knob on your keyboard to do the panning also. When it comes to portamento your stuck with the pitch knob, with the automation track. A glissando will be harder to do sliding from two, or three octaves. I have not figured out how to do a glissando yet.

You missed my point, I know that I can set volumes for each note via piano roll. My idea was it, that I can set any parameter of an instrument/effect for each note via Piano Roll.
Yeah, you can do that with automation, but via piano roll it would be much easier.
