Using Vielklang 2 with LMMS

Can someone please tell me if it is possible (and then how if it is) to use the Zplane vielklang 2 plugin with LMMS?
It is loaded as a VSTi (vst instrument). When I try it the usual way I drag it from the "My computer" list over to the "Song-Editor" where it appears in a VeSTige VST host. The vielklang GUI appears and the "play line" runs automatically and does not stop (for 70 measures, then stops)! (The test WAV file opened at measure 256, which means it doesn't really stop at 70 you just don't see it move further.) I'm not able to unlink it from LMMS and I can't stop it any other way (such as clicking the stop button).
This plugin is supposed to be used with a DAW but I hoped it could be used with this pgm. (I tried ReadBand & Band in a Box, but it seems there are impossible timing issues. I imagine this is not the type of software vielklang 2 was designed for but I thought it might be cool if I [and by extension all LMMS users] could get it to work.)
The Open function works and will load a WAV file into the plugin but the "line" scans right over it and doesn't stop at the WAV's end. The other functions work as well, including "Harmonize" but you're not able to work with a plugin that keeps "moving" and doesn't seem to sync with its host!
