I know I know, but it is a very interesting suggestion.

This suggestion, And I too will work on this and write tutorials on this if I stumble on the code first, is for Everything in lmms to be 3d. So like all the audio to be written the same, but all the synthesizers should be created in blender or something so that it indeed looks like I have a synthesizer in front of me.

I myself am working on doing this under windows and Linux, but just thought I would pass along something that seemed very interesting to me.

It will rock so hard.

And I know I suggest tutorials but tutorials are great for these things so that anyone and everyone can get involved and donate good code and great patches

So basically all of the GUI work can and may be done In 3D so it looks so realistic to the front end user. So it gives them the sense that they are playing an instrument.

if you guys do this before I do, which means I am working on this as well,

Make the 3D synthesizers and whatever else rotatable, scalable, have a zoom function so they can be moved and give a way more realistic look and feel.

and of course when I play either an MIDI keyboard or use my computer keyboard, make the keys on the 3D virtual pianos go up and down like they do now, it is just something for a nice feel!
