does anyone have any manual? or tell me what is responsible for what (knobs) S1 S2 S3 Q1 Q2 Q3 Detection etc.

its an advanced compressor -Good one too!
On top of a 4 part compressor, you also have filters, and that is what Q and S controls.
'S' is saturation of the filter-parts
'Q' is (always) resonance
Detection is modes of compression -kind of 'reaction' to the input -a t&e setting imo.

If you find Multiband compression a bit intimidating, I think the Zam-plugins multiband compressor (LADSPA) is easier to understand get better results faster. Every compressor sounds different though.
Unfortunately, its pretty CPU hungry.
